Auction Guide
A basic auction guide for those eager to familiarize themselves. All individuals are warmly invited to participate in our auctions, where our on-site team is prepared to assist with any inquiries and facilitate the registration process.
What constitutes an auction? It is the process of selling goods to a buyer who prevails in a bid against other potential buyers for the item on sale. Auctions take place within a specified time frame, either at a physical venue or in an online setting.
Our auctions feature a diverse array of movable assets, spanning household furniture, office furniture, patio & outdoor, kitchen appliances, computer equipment, audio & visual equipment, tools & machinery, hardware, general merchandise, insurance salvage and diplomatic/de-fleet vehicles, and occasionally trucks and plant.

Buying
Registering:
- Log onto system.ambassadorauctions.co.za to create a buyer profile. The registration office will activate your profile.
- Register for a specific auction and pay a registration deposit at the registration office.
- All buyers are bound by the Conditions of Sale as well as any announcements made by the auctioneer – Read and understand the conditions of sale.
- Familiarise yourself with all the lots on the auction, before you decide what you are interested in – Obtain an auction catalogue.
Bidding:
- Each & Every lot will be sold as is, where is, with no guarantees or warrantees, express or implied.
- Make sure that the auctioneer sees and acknowledges your bid.
- The auctioneer’s vendor roll is final and binding on all purchases and buyers. No cancellations
- No financing on loose assets.
Charges:
- Deposit fee is payable at every auction. Check the deposit amount at the registration office.
- All bids are excluding buyers commission plus VAT thereon.
- VAT is charged to selected items.
Payments:
- Our registration office will refund your deposit if you made no purchase(s).
- All accounts must be finalised and paid in full at the conclusion of each sale or before 12 noon the following day.
- Payments may be received in any of the following: CASH, CARD or EFT
- No item will be released unless full payment is reflecting in our bank account.
